Talbot’s Damsel fish also known as Talbot’s Demoiselle is a semi aggressive fish and is good for a 30 gallon marine tank. This fish do well together with Dwarf Angelfish, Large Angelfish, Anthias, Basslets, Blennies, Boxfish, Clownfish, Goatfish, Gobies, Hawkfish, Hogfish, Parrotfish, Pseudochromis, Puffers, Tangs & Surgeons and Wrasse. However some fishes like Anglers & Frogfish, Batfish, Butterflyfish, Cardinalfish, Damselfish, Filefish, Grunts & Sweetlips, Squirrelfish and Triggerfish are to be avoided. Basically a caution must be implemented if you are going to mix this fish with fishes that eats fish. Talbot’s Damsel grows only up to a maximum of 3 inches so it’s pretty small. Mixing this fish with predatory fishes like Lion Fish and Eels is definitely a no no.
This fish is usually found in Indo Pacific and lives in rocks, corals or sea weeds. This fish is ideal for beginners because it is very forgiving in terms of water condition. It’s diet includes a different meaty foods, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
